Return and Exchange Policy

Because each piece is handmade and crafted slowly, we want you to feel confident in your purchase and supported if a return is needed.
For customers outside the European Union, shipping and import policies vary - we’re happy to advise before you order.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a return or a size exchange within 14 days of delivery.

We accept returns on all items, including made to order pieces.

Within the European Union, size exchanges are free.

At Onika Knitwear, each piece is handmade in small batches with great care and time. To keep our work sustainable and fair - particularly for international orders - return shipping costs apply and depend on destination.

For customers outside the EU, we kindly encourage you to contact us before placing an order. We are happy to advise on sizing, fit, and materials to help ensure the best possible choice and avoid unnecessary returns.

How to make a return

To start a return, please contact us at info@onika-knitwear.com.
You will receive a return shipping label, along with detailed instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back without prior return approval cannot be accepted.

Returned items must be in the same condition in which they were received: unworn, unused, with all tags attached, and in the original packaging. 

Refunds

Once we have received and inspected your return, your refund will be processed to the original payment method. Please note that it may take several business days for your bank or credit card provider to complete the refund.

For returns from outside the European Union, any paid import duties or taxes must be reclaimed directly from your local authorities, as these charges are not refundable by us.

Defective items

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if your item arrives damaged or defective, so we can assess the situation and assist you promptly.

Non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as personalised designs and gift cards). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Can I return an item if it doesn’t fit?

Yes. You may request a return or size exchange within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is unworn, unused, and returned in its original condition and packaging.

How do I start a return or exchange?

Please email us at info@onika-knitwear.com. You’ll receive a return label and detailed instructions. Returns sent without prior approval cannot be accepted.

Do you accept returns on made-to-order items?

Yes. We accept returns on made-to-order pieces. Because each item is handmade in small batches, return shipping costs apply.

Can I exchange an item for a different size?

Yes. Size exchanges are possible. Within the EU, size exchanges are free. Shipping fees apply for international exchanges. We are always happy to advise on sizing before you order to help ensure the best fit.

I used my gift card credit to purchase an item but I want to return it, where will I receive the refund?

Returned items purchased with a Gift Card will be refunded into the original Gift Card.

If the cost is split between the Gift Card and another payment method, we will refund the same amount on the respective methods.

Are returns free?

Within the EU, size exchanges are free, while a €5 fee applies for returns only. For orders outside the European Union, return fees depend on destination.
